Is this the original MY-KU-MO?
MY-KU-MO 2.0 is the official return of MY-KU-MO after production of the original ended years ago. We acquired the MY-KU-MO trademark in 2026 and thoughtfully redesigned the product while preserving the personality people loved.
Why did MY-KU-MO come back?
For years, people continued searching for MY-KU-MO. As longtime fans ourselves, we wanted to bring the smiling cloud back while improving the features the community had been asking for.
What changed from the original?
MY-KU-MO 2.0 adds a removable washable cover, premium viscose from bamboo fabric, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified polyester fill, approximately two additional inches of loft, updated embroidery and improved six-sided construction.

Why is MY-KU-MO so soft?
MY-KU-MO is intentionally designed with a relaxed, soft and squishy feel. It is made to mold, cuddle and settle naturally rather than feel firm or rigid.
Is MY-KU-MO overstuffed?
No. MY-KU-MO is intentionally underfilled to create its relaxed, flexible and cloud-like comfort. The softer shape is a design feature, not a defect.
What size is MY-KU-MO?
MY-KU-MO measures approximately 18 × 18 × 3 inches.
What materials are used?
MY-KU-MO 2.0 has a removable cover made from 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex. The insert contains OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified polyester fiber fill.
Does every MY-KU-MO color feel the same?
Yes. Every color uses the same construction, cover material, fill, smile and soft MY-KU-MO feel. Only the fabric color changes.

Care instructions for washing the removable MY-KU-MO cover and refreshing the pillow insert.
Can I wash MY-KU-MO?
Yes. Remove and machine wash the exterior cover. The pillow insert should be spot cleaned rather than placed in a washing machine.
How do I wash the MY-KU-MO cover?
Machine wash the cover in cold water using a mild detergent. Wash with similar colors, then tumble dry on low or lay the cover flat to dry.
Can I bleach the cover?
No. Do not use bleach on the MY-KU-MO cover.
